E!PATCH - E! validation utility



E!PATCH is a very convenient validation and protection scheme.
By convenient we mean that it doesn't generate any constraint for
the user.

When you purchase E!, you receive a registration code. This
registration code will be used to personalize your copy of E! and
to disable display of the registration screen.

BUT BE AWARE OF THIS: this copy is personal. It is MARKED with
your OWN unique code. Giving E! away also means giving your code
away (that is, your name). Illegal copies of E! will then be
"traceable" and unfair users will be exposed to lawsuits. Please
help us keeping prices low by fighting software piracy.


Using E!PATCH is very easy.

Make the directory containing E!.EXE and E!PATCH.EXE the current
directory. Enter E!PATCH at the DOS prompt.

Then you'll be asked to enter your name or the name of your
company. Use the name under which you were registered.

Enter that name.

Then enter the registration code that we sent you along with E!
when you purchased it.

If you make any mistake entering this information, E!PATCH
will terminate and E! will not be patched.

If you entered the right data E!PATCH will disable the
registration screen display. From now on, you'll use E! as a
"normal" program. You can copy the patched file but remember,
giving it away is not authorized.
