This archive contains the new setterm program for Linux which is
needed to take advantage of the excellent vt102 terminal emulation
now available in Linux 0.96b. This file is stored in tar format and
of course extract with:

tar xvf sterm96b.tar

By the way, if you haven't yet upgraded to the most current release
of tar and compress for Linux, now is the time to do so. The old
versions dating from a few months ago, which found their way onto
some of the root disks, have some bugs which may corrupt the archives
under certain conditions. If you do not have these new versions, you
will be able to find them at Brodmann's Place BBS (301) 843-5732.
You will also want the latest versions of unzip and zip for Linux
while you are at it.
