1"&&&&&'w'o}Installation Guide for JRE Home Inventory 2.0

JRE Home Inventory requires Windows 3.1.

WHAT's NEW:
The maximum values for Insurance Percent and Number of Days increased from 99 to 999.
Text fields will not allow data to be entered greater than the maximum text field length.
Labels over text fields specify the maximum text field length for the field.
Report creation is approximately 90% faster.
New About sub-menu from the Help menu. Details the version of JRE Home Inventory, copyright notice, and your computer system configuration.
Reports are now displayed in a spreadsheet-type grid. Column size can be changed by dragging the edge of the column headings.
Deleted records can be recalled (undeleted). Deleted records are marked by a yellow background. Deleted records are permanently deleted when files are packed. Deleted records do NOT show up on reports.
Index files are automatically created at start up, if they do not exist. Index files have a file name extension of '.MDX'.
A stop at End-of-file and Start-of-file is no longer generated when paging through the data. Instead, a "wrap" condition will occur where you will wrap to the first record after doing a NEXT past the last record or wrap to the last record after doing a PREVIOUS past the first record.
Additional HELP on the QBE function. Various HELP typos corrected.
