KEYSET will force your computers 'TOGGLE KEYS" on or off
as you choose.

Toggle keys: INSERT (insert or overstrike)
NUMLOCK (numbers or arrow keys)
CAPSLOCK (all uppercase letters or lowercase)
SCROLLOCK (locks cursor and scrolls whole screen or
frees cursor)

INSTALLATION:
1) Start-up computer
2) Make a BACK-UP copy of the KEYSET program diskette.
3) After computer is running:
-Place Program diskette COPY into your floppy drive (A:)
-Type: A:
4) You should now see something like this: A:>
-Type: KEYINST
-Follow the directions on the screen.
5) Thats it. KEYSET won't take effect until the computer is restarted
(RE-BOOTED).
6) Any time you wish to change KEYSET's settings:
At a "C" prompt type KEY .

* Note to power users: Instead of installing in the root directory,
files KEYSET.EXE and KEY.BAT may be moved to
any subdirectory on the path.
The files in the subdirectory KEYSET may be
moved anywhere on the path, BUT ALL THE FILES
MUST RESIDE IN THE SAME DIRECTORY!

MANUAL OPERATION:
* All the files included on the program diskette are OPTIONAL except
KEYSET.EXE. The others may be deleted if you are always going to
use manual operation.

1) COMMAND LINE METHOD
* At a "PROMPT" type: KEYSET followed by your options.
* OPTIONS: NUM=ON (turns Numlock ON)
NUM=OFF (turns Numlock OFF)

CAPS=ON (turns Capslock ON)
CAPS=OFF (turns Capslock OFF)

INSERT=ON (turns Insert mode ON)
INSERT=OFF (turns Overstrike mode OFF)

SCROLL=ON (turns Scrollock ON)
SCROLL=OFF (turns Scrollock OFF)

* Example: C> KEYSET CAPS=OFF INSERT=ON








This will turn the Capslock off and the INSERT on.
Any toggle key not mentioned on command line will be left
unchanged. Use as many options as you wish, in any
order, separated by spaces.
NOTE: Type options as shown with no spaces on either side of
the "=" sign. (Use upper or lower case)

2) Batch file method:
* KEYSET may be placed in a batch file allowing automatic
customized settings for each of your application
programs.
Example:

ECHO OFF
CLS
KEYSET NUM=ON CAPS=ON
CD\SYM
SYMPHONY
CD\
KEYSET NUM=OFF CAPS=OFF
MENU

This example would: 1) Turn the Num Lock and the Caps Lock on
2) Run Symphony
3) Turn the Num Lock and Caps Lock off
4) Run a menuing utility
