DLBOOT is a simple utility that I wrote for the Sysop of Life's Like
That BBS. It's purpose was to automatically reboot the computer
after a specified number of seconds has gone by. It can be
uninstalled before the time expires. This is FREEWARE! I don't
want your money but if you would like an enhancement I will be glad
to look in to it. My name is Tim Noonan and I can be contacted on
Life's Like That (703) 560-5616.
Syntax:
DLBOOT /[[S|M|H]:n | U]
S n is number of seconds
M n is number of minutes
H n is number of hours
n a number from 1 to 65535
U to unload
DLBOOT /S:60
causes the computer to reboot in 60 seconds
DLBOOT /M:300
causes the computer to reboot in 300 minutes
DLBOOT /H:24
causes the computer to reboot in 24 hours
DLBOOT /U
will unload the program from memory
Screen output from DLBOOT can be redirected if you want to.
Obviously the program has not been tested with some of the extreme
values (ie. hours set to 65535 - that's about 7.5 years from now!),
but it has worked succesfully in all of my testing. If you find
problems please don't hesitate don't leave me a message on Life's
Like That.
Here's the disclaimer:
I will not be responsible for any problems or damage resulting in
the use, misuse or abuse of this program. There is no warranty.
