Contents of the README file
This is Data Base Designs "DBDWIND" demo program. The ARC file contains
the following files:
1. DEMO.OBJ
2. HELP.SCR
3. PROMO.SCR
4. COLOR.SCR
5. COLORS.MEM
6. READ.ME
7. VIDASM.LIB
8. WIN.LNK
You must link the DEMO.OBJ file with the Winter '86 version of Clipper
and the included VIDASM.LIB to produce the executable file DEMO.EXE
If you are using the DOS linker:
LINK DEMO,,,clipper VIDASM
If you are using PLINK86:
PLINK86 @WIN
Both of these commands assume either linker can reach the appropriate
files and libraries (Via the DOS PATH command) but I assume (?) that if
you are this far along with Clipper, you know what I'm refering to.
The demo is more or less self running, until you see the familiar "PRESS
A KEY TO CONTINUE" prompt. I use different duration INKEY() commands
to control the delay between window pops, so if they are too slow for
you, or you want to skip quickly to another section of the demo, pressing
any key during a delay will help you move forward.
While you view the demo, keep in mind that less than 5% of the code in
this program is standard Dbase/Clipper syntax.
