Win Multiple Configurations requires Windows 3.1 and VBRUN200.DLL. VBRUN200.DLL must be accessable via the path, normally this program is placed in the Windows system directory.
To install Win Multiple Configurations, run SETUP.EXE.

Win Multiple Configurations (WMC) consists of two programs, WMCSAVE.EXE and WMCSTRT.EXE. These two programs allow eight different window configurations to be saved and restored. Configurations consist of all *.GRP and *.INI files that reside in the Windows directory. These files are copied from the Windows directory (saved) and copied back to the Windows directory (restored).
In this way, WMC allows a user to easily switch between completely different window environments. Save and restore configurations with different video modes, networks, drivers, and group layouts. Co-workers or family members sharing a PC can have their own windows setup. Before installing new software or drivers, save the current windows configuration to provide for backout. If problems do occur, easily restore back to the windows configuration before the install.
Registration costs $9.00, can be done on CompuServe (GO SWREG, title "Win Multiple Configurations", registration id 662) and allows passwords to be assigned to each saved configuration. Prevent accidental access to sensitive programs and/or data.
Also available from JRE Enterprises is JRE Home Inventory. Requires Windows 3.1 and VBRUN200.DLL. JRE Home Inventory can be found on CompuServe (WINADV forum) and America Online (Windows software) with a key word of JRE.rivextq|m YV^ $0gp`~^Oi4
