This program is very easy to use. I wrote it to attach a BBS ad as
a comment to my Zip uploads.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
ZIPLOGO.EXE - Single file version. Works on one file at a time.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
ZIPLOGO Implementation:
1. Put the ZIPLOGO.EXE file in your Dos or Utility directory. (where your
path command can find it.)
2. Your path must also point to where PKZIP.EXE is located.
3. Create a directory off of Drive C: called 'LOGO' (C:\LOGO).
4. In the Logo Directory create a text/ansi file called 'LOGO.GEN'.
Manual - Just type in 'ZIPLOGO FILENAME.EXT' and your logo will be appended
to the file.
Automatic with RBBS 17.xx - Replace your TZIP.BAT file which tests your
uploads with the one I've included. Your comment will automatically
attach to the file after every successful upload.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRLOGO.EXE - Adds you comment to all ZIP files in current directory.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRLOGO Implementation:
1. Put the DIRLOGO.EXE file in your Dos or Utility directory. (where your
path command can find it.)
2. Your path must also point to where PKZIP.EXE is located.
3. Create a directory off of Drive C: called 'LOGO' (C:\LOGO).
4. In the Logo Directory create a text/ansi file called 'LOGO.GEN'.
This will be the default Zip comment.
5. Enter the directory containing the .ZIP files and type in 'DIRLOGO'.
The 'LOGO.GEN' comment will attach to each Zip file in the directory.
Alternate Logo's are possible. Just leave the name as 'LOGO' and change the
extension. For example if you have a logo file called 'LOGO.GAM' for games,
go into your Games directory and type in 'DIRLOGO GAM'. It will use
'LOGO.GAM' as the comment to each file in that directory.
Leave the first line blank on your logo's. Otherwise it will word wrap the
first line (Don't leave a blank to see what I mean).
