Includes the GNUDOS freeware pack.

FN32 version 1.3
32 character filenames under MSDOS!!
This package contains a TSR, .obj files
and sample source code. The TSR manages
dictionary files which provide symbolic
links from the long names to unique short
names. The .obj files provide substitutes
for 'setargv.obj', and several inadequate
DOS functions such as 'stat', 'fstat'
'opendir', 'readdir', 'rename' etc.
Includes the GNUDOS freeware pack.
Source code is available.
The GNU file utilities are a product of the Free Software Foundation
and are subject to an unusual `copyleft' form of distribution. See
the file COPYING for more details.
This version of the GNU file utilities has been modified somewhat in order
to correspond to PDCOS extensions and restrictions. Each of the programs
writes its 'Usage' to stdout because stderr cannot be redirected from
the normal MSDOS shell. All programs were compiled with MSC6.0 using the
compact memory model and have over 40k of stack space. They incorporate
the FN32 features provided by fn32argv.obj, xstat.obj and xfstat.obj.
You don't need the TSR 'FN32.EXE' if your filenames are normal DOS 8.3 format.
However, if you wish to accomodate filenames of up to 32 case insensitive
characters you should obtain the shareware package FN32-1.ZIP or FN32-2.ZIP
from Compuserve or the author. See below:
To receive a copy of the source for the GNU file utilities, send a formatted
high density diskette plus $5.00 shipping and handling to:
