RELEASE: Version 1.01, released 08/18/8, The Hobbit House
TYPE: DOS file utility
PURPOSE: to allow the user to find out in advance how much
allocated space a set of files will take if moved from
one type of disk to another.
FUNCTION: a utility to show, for any group of files within any
directory on any disk, the actual disk space used by
that group of files plus the allocation requirements
for that group of files both on the disk on which they
reside, and for all other type disks. Allocation sizes
shown are based, obviously, on the cluster sizes (1K,
2K, etc.) used by the various disks (360K, 1.2Meg,
20Meg, etc.).
INVOCATIONS:
(1) SIZE
The
directory and any set of files (which can be validly
described with the DOS wildcards "*" and "?"), but it
MUST end in a file spec, NOT a directory spec, otherwise

directory (i.e.

This shows 30 files found with an actual disk usage of 280759
bytes, and then it shows the allocations requirements for the
same set of files if they were to be transferred to any of the
disks specified.
