As new users of Autocad* we found it a pain to have to
calculate desired letter height each time we changed drawing
scale, so in order to eliminate this bothersome chore we created
the following scale matrix.
To use it, select the desired final text height from the
left column, move across to the appropriate scale column and pick
that number (Autocad* text height expressed in inches). When
Autocad* prompts you for text height, type in the selected
number.
To assure proper print-out, this document can either be
printed as a DOS text file or it can be loaded into a word
processor as a DOS text file, page length set to 62 lines per
page, margins set to 10 and 74 and printed via your word
processor.
