Page 1 of 14 INTRODUCTION

AcroSpin(TM) can rotate, translate, and scale 3-dimensional wire frame objects
and point clouds. This tutorial will help you learn how to use AcroSpin.
There will be thirteen objects for you to play with, each preceded by
explanatory text.

THE ESSENTIAL KEYS: R, T, S, ESC AND THE ARROW KEYS

You control the motion of an object by using the keys on your keyboard:
hold down an arrow key to rotate, translate, or scale the object;
press R, and then the arrow keys will rotate the object;
press T, and then the arrow keys will translate the object;
press S, and then the arrow keys will scale the object.
The initial type of motion is rotation. AcroSpin doesn't care if you type R,
T, or S in uppercase or lowercase. When you finish playing with an object,
press the ESC key to exit from AcroSpin; that will return you to this tutorial.

You can practice using the R, T, S, ESC, and arrow keys on the first object, a
cube. If you want to stop this tutorial, simultaneously hold down the CONTROL
and BREAK keys when it asks you to 'Strike a key when ready . . . '. If for
some reason AcroSpin can't run on your system, it will give you an error
message explaining why.
