PRinting Calculator (PRC) ver. 3.6 - Shareware

The Printing Calculator has all the features of a printing
desktop calculator, but with special capabilities. Paper
Tape is simulated on the computer printer attached to LPT1
(PRN). The calculator has the following features:

* TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) operation.
* PRC will print a Text file on LPT1 (F2).
* Paper Tape On/Off (F3 = on and F4 = off).
* Paste the Correct Time (F7).
* Send a Line Feed to the printer (Alt-F5).
* Send a Form Feed to the printer (Alt-F6).
* Paste the Correct Date (F8).
* Paste the Result of a calculation (F10).
* PRC calculator will move on screen (F5/F6 or
right/left arrows.)
* Uses only about 33.5k of DOS memory.
* The Hot-Key (Ctrl-F5) Pops-Up the calculator over
any text mode application. CGA/MGA/EGA/VGA

PRC calculator uses Algebraic entry (Infix) and has a deci-
mal precision of 9 digits maximum. The numbers entered will
appear in a window across the top of the calculator. The
numbers will move to the left as they are entered. In most
ways, the operation is exactly as in a desktop calculator.

The calculator can be loaded by typing PRC at the DOS prompt.
Once loaded, PRC will display three lines of information and
will be ready to use at any time the combination Ctrl-F5 is
pressed. PRC will remain on screen until the Esc key, F10
for number paste, F8 for pasting the Date, or F7 for Time
paste is pressed. After you have returned to your appli-
cation, you may again call the calculator up with Ctrl-F5.
Notice that PRC returns to the position on the screen where
you last used it, and with the last calculation intact.

When using the paper tape option (F3 on, F4 off), the paper
may be advanced by pressing Alt-F5. The entire page may be
advanced out of the printer by pressing Alt-F6). These two
functions are handy when you are using another application
and want to advance the paper, but don't want to get up and
take the printer off line to do it. The form feed and line
feed functions are always available.
PRC automatically turns off the cursor when it is invoked.
PRC also turns on the numlock for the standard keyboard.

PRC will print a text file when the F2 key is pressed and
a Drive/path/filename is entered.

I have also included a version called PRC-EN for the enhanced
keyboard that does not turn on the numlock. The colors are
black and white at present. If the program is supported by
the users, I will issue updates that will allow Hot-Key
selection, color choices, keyboard type selection, and other
features as fully installable functions.

PRinting Calculator (PRC) - Shareware

This program is user supported shareware. The fee requested
for registration is only fifteen dollars ($15.00). Users
who register will get the next update free. Registered users
will also be notified about other low cost shareware products
as they are released.

If you would like to use PRC on more than one computer,
contact me by phone or mail regarding low cost site licenses
for your company or organization.

If you are familiar with the information services, BBS's, or
companys selling shareware and public domain software on
disk, you may have seen or used the public domain versions
of my calculator. I have fully supported two versions for
during the past two years. They are still available and I
will still issue updates from time to time. PRC has many
more features and as shareware, will be enhanced more often.

Mail the registration form at the bottom of this page with
a check or money order for $15.00 to the address listed
below. Cut the form along the dotted line.
