NAVIGATION COMMANDS: Move the Cursor with the ARROW KEYS,
last Record:
RECORD NUMBER In the upper left corner of the screen you can see the
record number/total amount of records. The deleted
records are considered, as long the packing operation
(U,H,P) has yet not been executed.
ADD A RECORD: Jump to the last Record with
DELETE A RECORD: Move the cursor to the record and press

Type in the string to be found followed by

text the additional characters will be inserted,

dBLOOKUP: Move the cursor to a field linked to a DBF File (marked
with an *). Press
option. dBLOOKUP works only if the file has been
prepared accordingly.
A file is prepared for dBLOOKUP using the command
sequence U,R,M and entering a Y character for the field
for which a dBLOOKUP link is required. The DBF File to
be linked to each Field marked with Y must be entered.
To enter information in a file called with dBLOOKUP (F2)
press

Data-Table modes.
EDITING COMMANDS: To start Editing move the cursor to the desired Field
and start typing or press Enter

CASE OPERATION: For changing the case of the characters at a field level
in one record move the cursor to the desired field and

in all the records move the cursor to the desired field

upper case.

initial capitals (proper).
MEMO FIELDS: To open a MEMO field press RETURN. In Fast Find or View
use the '+' key.
EXPORT A MEMO FIELD: Press
type the file name.
EXTERNAL TEXT FILES: Move the cursor to a character field and type:
<%\PATH\FILENAME.EXT>,
indicates that you can access the file called
FILENAME.EXE by placing the cursor on this field and
typing
operations can be applied to this file. The size of
the external file which can be viewed, and operated
by this mechanism depends on the available free RAM.
HIDE A COLUMN/FIELD In order to show the information stored in distant
locations you can hide the information contained in one
or more columns/fields by moving the cursor at to
desired field and pressing
hidden columns/fields you have to exit from the Data
Entry option and enter again.
