FUNCTIONS OF THE dBLOOKUP DATA-TABLE

SEARCH FOR A STRING: Search String: + String + [CR]; Repeat Search:


dBLOOKUP: Move the cursor to a field linked to a DBF File (marked
with an *). Press to invoke the dBLOOKUP
option. dBLOOKUP works only if the file has been
prepared accordingly.

A file is prepared for dBLOOKUP using the command
sequence U,R,M and entering a Y character for the field
for which a dBLOOKUP link is required. The DBF File to
be linked to each Field marked with Y must be entered.

To enter information in a file called with =dBLOOKUP
press . This is a toggle key for activating/desacti-
vating the edit function. Go to the field to be edited
and press for being able to edit the information.
This works only with the files called with dBLOOKUP from
the main file, and in all Data-Table modes.
