REMEMBER is a pair of programs which will help you remember
special events such as Birthdays and Anniversaries. If your memory
of such events is as bad as mine, REMEMBER will help remind you of
the events which occur within a month of the present date.

The following programs are included in REMEMBER:

REMEMBER.COM
REMEM.COM

REMEMBER.COM is the program which creates the data file (called
REMEMBER.DAT). Just follow the prompts and enter the data EXACTLY as
you want it to appear on the screen (UPPER CASE ONLY or Upper and
Lower Case). REMEMBER.COM will only create the data file and sort it
by date. You can also create the file or modify it with a Text
Editor as long as the data is entered as follows:

A MM-DD-YYYY!NAMES
(for an Anniversary)

or

B MM-DD-YYYY!NAME
(for a Birthday)

Column 1 - A or B indicates Anniversary or Birthday.
Column 3 through 12 - The date of Marriage or Birth with
MM = Month
- = Separator
DD = Day
- = Separator
YYYY = Year

Column 13 - Separate the year from the Name(s) with an
exclamation mark (!).
Column 14 through 43 - The NAME(S).

REMEM.COM is the program which reads the data file and displays
the events for you. Include REMEM in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to
remind you of upcoming events every time you turn on your system.
