BOWLING DATAPLUS, Version 1.12, README Supplement

(c) Copyright 1989 Glenn Quisler

BOWLING DATAPLUS was written in QuiskBasic. It uses windowing
routines written for QuickBasic. The program collects, calculates
and prints all information required by a league secretary to manage
a league.

The program has been in development for three years and over that
time has been used in several leagues with excellent success.
Although it was designed for flexibilty to handle league variations,
there is no guarantee it will work for all leagues. Should you find
that the program can not manage your league, write me and I will
modify the program for custom requirements. This service is provided
for registered owners only.

The package includes the program, the manual file and some sample
data files.

The program can be executed by typing:

BOWLDATA

The manual will provide greater detail about the program and can be
printed by using the DOS print command. Type:

PRINT BOWLDATA.DOC

The sample data consists of six files all ending with the extension
"DAT." These files should be deleted or not copied when setting up
the actual league. They will be created by the program if they do
not exist.

The sample data files are included so you can see how the program
operates without entering a bunch of data. There is two weeks of
sample data entered for an eight team league. Please note that the
sample configuration was set for an Epson printer. If a different
type of printer is used, the "printer type" may have to be changed,
under the "Configuration" option in the program, or the data may
not print correctly.

For each league, the program and data files must be on a separate
diskette or under a different directory if using a hard drive,
because the data file names are not unique for each league.

See the file, README.TOO for information about changes to earlier
versions of the program.

Special thanks must be given to the following people:

David J. Evers for the QB windowing routines.

Allen G. Sparks for the technical support and assembler programs.
