Copy 3Com locked files (eg. ns_dom.000) with the server running. Very handy for network administrators. | |||

SCOPY.EXE is a file that will allow copying of certain open network files.
The key is that they have to be opened with non-exclusive network access.
This means that another program, such as scopy, can also open the file using
the C sopen() function with non-exclusive access. SCOPY then allocates
whatever RAM is available, up to 64k, to make the file copy. Wildcards are
not supported. Paths should be. It has been tested with 3Com 3+ name service
files (ns_dom.???) and 3+open audit files (net.aud). It is recommended,
however, that before you rely on this as a backup you test the files you
are copying a couple of times to make sure they are being made correctly.
