WPFAKE -- A simple (but annoying) joke program
WPFAKE appears to be WordPerfect 5.1--but when the unsuspecting user
attempts to enter any text, he or she finds the program will type only
the text you have selected. I'm sure you'll be imaginative enough to
think up uses for it...
To run, just type "WPFAKE" at the DOS command line. The program will
prompt you for a string to use when it types. Enter any string, up to
128 characters long, terminated with a period; WPFAKE will add two
spaces at the end of your string automatically as it types.
Just hit RETURN at the prompt to use the default string: "Now is the
time for all good men to come to the aid of the party."
WPFAKE performs word-wrap and maintains a realistic line and position
counter on the status line. Typing any function key (like F7) will
bring up a nose-thumbing error box. Ctrl-Break is disabled; the user
must type ESC to exit the program.
