The following steps can be used to place the same endnote number in a
document two or more times and have it reference the same endnote. If the
original endnote number changes, all duplicates will update at the same time.
1. X°°
ÂAfter creating an endnote, edit the endnote (Ctrl-F7, 2, 2) and mark it
as a cross-reference target (Alt-F5, 1, 2).Æ%°Æ
2. X°°
ÂPosition the cursor at the place where the endnote number will appear a
second time and mark the position as a reference (Alt-F5, 1, 1). Enter
the same target name created in step one.Æ%°Æ
3. X°°
ÂRepeat step 2 any place in the document where this same endnote number
should appear.Æ%°Æ
4. X°°
ÂBlock each reference and place a Superscript code around it (Ctrl-F8, 1,
1).Æ%°Æ
5. X°°
ÂGenerate the document (Alt-F5, 6, 5).Æ%°Æ
