This program creates a pop-up menu inside WordPerfect 5.1
for
the quick creation of several styles of frequently used
documents,
and for Avery Brand adhesive label products.
I. To set this utility up, you must determine which directory
WordPerfect stores your keyboard macros in.
A. Use to reveal the SETUP menu.
B. Press <6> to display the LOCATION OF FILES menu. The
directory where the macros are located is listed at number 2 on
this menu. Note this directory path and name, and return to the
edit screen by pressing.
C. Create a directory named "MACROS" by listing files in
the default
directory (press) and using <7> from the bottom menu. Change
the setup
listing to reflect the new location for macro files, and copy all
*.WPM files from the old directory (noted in B. above) into it.
D. Press to return to the edit screen.
E. Copy all files into the new directory.
II. Next, the documents the utility calls-up must be costomized
for your specific use.
A. Retreive each of the following, one at a time, into
WordPerfect, and change the generic text (i.e. COMPANY NAME HERE)
to reflect your personal information. Save each as you go to the
next for editing. DO NOT ALTER THE FILE NAMES.
1. BUSINESS.LET
2. PERSONAL.LET
3. FAX.DOC
4. MEMO.DOC
III. You are now ready to use the utility.
A. Press, then type "MENU" and press .
B. Make the appropriate selections from the menu.
C. Follow the prompts at the bottom of the screen to
continue
processing, until finished. Filling-in Documents:
When the menu calls up the documents requested, follow the
prompts at the bottom-left of the screen, using to proceed
to the next step, and then to finish the document.
