Quick Coloring Utility v2.0

This program is released to the public domain, there is no charge
for it's use. All comments are welcome and should be left at the
number above.

As a sysop, I got tired of looking at black and white bulletins.
Therefore I decided to write QC. QC is a simple utility that will
take a ASCII file as input and output an ANSI color file. The user
has control of what colors are used thru a configuration file. A
config file is created with the QC editor.

QC is completely command line driven, allowing it to be used
unattended during a Bulletin Board's event.

COLORING MODE

Inputs inside of the <> are optional

(1) Config File Name - File may be named anything you wish
allowing for multiple cfg files, so
you can color each bulletin with it's
own colors if you choose.

(2) Input File Name - This is the name of the ASCII file you
wish to have colored.

(3) Output File Name - This is the name of the ANSI output file.

NOTE: None of the above three files need be in the same DIR as
QC.EXE. Simply enter the entire path for each on the
command line.

QC - This command will give you a quick refresher
on the proper command line formats used.

QUICK COLOR EDITOR MODE
-----------------------

QC - This command will cause the program to enter
edit mode. Edit mode will allow you to modify
an existing config file or create a new one.

When you enter edit mode, the first screen you see is the color
selection screen. In the upper box you will see the selected
colors 0 - 9. If you wish to create a new config file, just enter
the new file name on the command line. When QC can't find the file
it will use the defaults, which you can now change with the editor.

The lower box is the color selection box. To change a color, use the
cursor keys to move the cursor box to the color you wish to use.
Then press the corresponding number key to select that color.

example: To select Bright Yellow as color number 7.

Using the cursor keys, move the Red selector box over
the Bright Yellow color. Then press 7. Color number
7 in the selected colors box will change to Bright
Yellow.

After selecting your colors press ESCAPE key to enter the character
selection screen. This screen allows you to assign color numbers
to each char in the IBM character set. The selected colors are
shown in the upper selected colors box. The characters are shown
in the lower box, and consist of four screens of 64 chars each,
accessed by using PGUP and PGDN keys to change pages. Use the
cursor keys to move the cursor box to the character you want,
then assign a color by pressing a number key.

Using the PGUP, PGDN, and cursor keys full wrapping is supported.

After assigning your colors to the char set, press ESCAPE to exit.
The program will then exit and save the config file to disk using
the path and name you used on the command line.
