HYPOP
-----
This is the new popup HyperShell subset, included as part of
the HyperShell registration or separately at 10 pounds.

Instructions for using this are in the documentation.

Only one popup hyperfile can be installed.

To install the quickref.hyp hyperfile:-

hypop quickref.hyp

Then press Alt-H to pop it up. It uses the word at the cursor
position to try to locate a frame about that word, else it
displays the first frame.

To uninstall, type

hypop -u

--------------------------------------------------------

MSDOS.HYP Hyperfile

The MSDOS hyperfile may be used with HYPOP.

hypop msdos.hyp

This can be used when you are typing in a MSDOS command:-

Suppose you had typed

C> dir_

With the '_' representing the text cursor.
You can press Alt-/ and information on the DIR command
will be displayed.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
