Work file extension: This is the extension of the work files used by this program. For example, with Lotus 1-2-3, you would specify WK1 as the work file extension. With Microsoft Word, you would specify DOC. When HyperPAD runs the program, you will be presented with a list of files having this extension from the directory specified by the Work file directory field.

Run from program directory: This option, when selected, causes HyperPAD to change to the directory containing the program before running it. Some programs, such as Lotus 1-2-3, require that they be started from the program directory.
