Contents of the README.BAT file
Before you INSTALL the 16 color driver you must INSTALL the
640x480x256 color driver to add the last line for WidthXHeight
in the SYSTEM.INI file. If you do not select 256 color driver,
you will not find that line WidthXHeight in SYSTEM.INI file,
so select a 256 color driver first and then EDIT the SYSTEM.INI.
To install this driver you have to EDIT the SYSTEM.INI file. Put
the exact name (eg: V716.DRV) in the display.drv line and copy the
DRIVER to your SYSTEM subdirectory under WINDOWS.
Also EDIT the last line in SYSTEM.INI called WidthXHeight=
This line should contain the resolution you want to get.
EXAMPLE: WidthXHeight=1024x768 or
WidthXHeight=800x600 or
WidthXHeight=720x540 etc.
