This Windows 3.1 driver upgrade will work only if you have previously
installed an ATI Windows 3.1 driver. If you have not done so, run the
installation disk #1 that came with your video card and install the
Windows 3.1 driver, before running the driver upgrade install program.

To install this release, unpack the distribution files onto a diskette, or
to a separate directory, that also contains LOADER.EXE and LHARC.EXE. Run
the LOADER.EXE utility and specify your Windows directory.

The driver installation will automatically set up the "ATI mach32 Driver".
This will complete the driver installation. To restore your previous
display driver, run the Microsoft Windows SETUP utility, and reselect the
old driver.

The release readme file is available from the Windows program group called
"mach Utilities". Double click the README Icon and the release notes will
be displayed.
