useful Windows tool.
DLL Master lists all modules currently loaded in Windows'
memory, and allows you to load, unload, or decrement the use
count of DLLs--at your own risk, of course. Module path,
date, time and filesize are shown; multiple lists are kept,
lists can be compared, and printed or saved to disk.
Specific DLLs can also be loaded at Windows' startup.
Requires Windows 3.1.
DLL Master is a shareware program written in Visual Basic,
and as such requires the VB 2.0 runtime module VBRUN200.DLL
in order to run. Since VBRUN200.DLL is huge, it is not
distributed with DLL Master. Another required Visual Basic
module, CMDIALOG.VBX, is included. If you can't hold of a
copy of VBRUN200.DLL, let us know by fax (818-957-7992) and
we will send you one.
To install DLL Master, just unzip it into a directory, then
create a Windows program item that has as its command line
property [your drive]\[your directory]\DLLMSTR.EXE. You can
use DLLMSTR.ICO as the icon for the program item.
Please contact us if you have any questions, problems or
suggestions for improvements to DLL Master. We also strongly
encourage you to register your copy if you find yourself
continuing to use DLL Master (please read LICENSE.DOC).
Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
