CONFIG16: Determines Your System Configuration
THIS TOOL IS NOT SUPPORTED BY MICROSOFT CORPORATION. IT IS

YOU. WE REGRET THAT MICROSOFT IS UNABLE TO SUPPORT OR

Microsoft Configuration Specialist is a system-reporting
tool you can use to detect various hardware configurations
under the Microsoft(R) Windows(TM) operating system.
Information is available for video, printer, operating
system, fonts, memory, BIOS, network, disk drives,
keyboard, com ports, mouse, pen, registry, international
settings, and multimedia.
The Configuration Specialist tool helps you determine just
how your system is configured without having to deal with
.INI, .SYS, and .BAT files. It displays information and
metrics that Windows 3.1 uses, in an easy-to-read fashion.
Information can be printed, saved to a file, or copied to
the Clipboard. Cover sheets can also be generated for
reports on system information. For many tests it is best
to run Configuration Specialist after the application,
driver, dynamic-link library, and so on are installed so
that all information will be current when output is
generated.
This version of the Configuration Specialist runs under
Microsoft Windows 3.1.
