ZAP UPDATES ZAP program update history.

thanks to those who provided feedback:

from the command line, the block count
was wrong, fixed.

the command line, the file name was
retained on the status line, fixed.
- if the drive was changed during a Dos
shell, unable to load files, fixed.
- first directory in the root directory
was missing, fixed.
- if the time was less than 1300 hours,
time was shown as AM, fixed.
- ZAPCOLOR allowed a color code greater
than 127 to be entered, fixed.

This update history is included with

to command mode, an Ascii filter command
to edit mode, and ZAPCOLOR.EXE, the ZAP

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
