Nearly every release incorporates miscellaneous small refinements too
numerous to detail. Some changes from Version 1.11 include:
* The view option has been extended to work from outside, as well as from
within, archives. The same viewers defined in RVS.CFG can be called up
while scrolling through the DOS directory window. Thus, pressing enter
on a non-archive filename will invoke the appropriate viewer based on
filename extension.
* The "sharing violation" error message (from DOS) should no longer appear
when trying to extract or view an LZH file with SHARE.EXE loaded.
Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
