This archive contains three utilities that I developed for use at
work. I hope you will find them usefull as well.

A brief discription of each follows:

CRLF.COM

Usage: CRLF

This utility will take as it's input an ASCII file which contains
multiple fixed length records without the standard record
delimeter (carriage return 0Dh and line feed 0Ah).

The utility will create the file named on the command line
(output filename) with the records delimetted with CR & LF.

TAP.COM

Usage:
TAP

filename = The name of the target file
offset = offset into the file to patch
a/x = a if next parameter is to be an ascii character x for hex patch
value = single digit or letter (hex or ascii) to be patched

EXAMPLE COMMAND LINE : TAP CASPRF.SYS 29 X 40

In the above example a 28 hex would be patched into CASPRF.SYS
at offset 29 (40 decimal = 28 hex)

PATCH.COM

Usage:
PATCH

filename = The name of the target file
offset = offset into the file to patch
number bytes = number of bytes to patch into the file
a/x = a if next parameter is to be an ascii character x for hex patch
value = hex or ascii characters to be patched

EXAMPLE COMMAND LINE : PATCH MYFILE.RRR 29 2 X 40 0

In the above example a 28h would be patched into MYFILE.RRR
at offset 29 (40 decimal = 28 hex)
and at offset 30 a 00h (0 decimal = 00 hex)

You may copy, distribute, or throw away these utilities freely
