MAKEREAD converts text files into .COM files of the same names
which will display on the screen without using TYPE. Does not
overwrite already existing files of the same name. Type
MAKEREAD for instructions. Useful for batch files. This is
version 1.8, which allows user to PgUp, PgDn, Esc to DOS, scroll
down one line at a time, or print the file. MAKEREAD adds 753
bytes to the file size.


MAKERDA.COM is the same as MAKEREAD but instead of using the
function keys (PgUp, PgDn, End, Home, etc.), uses letters, U, D,
L, E, H, Q for the convenience of those who have overriding
function key assignments. Type MAKERA for documentation and
directions.
