DEFX v1.10 Released: 03/12/93
Well, this is VERY easy to use utility. I've been making a lot of various
improvements/bug fixes, and it looks like it's coming along fairly well. I've
upgraded it so it accepts the following archive formats:
ZIP using PKZIP 2.x
ARJ using ARJ 2.x
LZH using LHA 2.x
ZOO using ZOO 2.x
PAK using PAK 2.x
and, the new HA archive format, using HA 0.98. (better than even PKZIP 2.04!)
To use DEFX, type this at the DOS prompt:
DEFX.[ext] [archive type]
The archive type is to be typed as it is listed above.
If you do not specify an extension, DEFX will assume that it is ZIP.
If you do not specify an archive type, DEFX will assume that it is ZIP.
This program is not copyrighted, and is public domain. Use it, edit it,
whatever. I just ask that the enclosed files be left unaltered when
distributing. You may add the newest version of DELF at will.
If you need any kind of support (I can't see why you would), want to make
suggestions (for other archive formats, or otherwise), or just want to write
for the hell of it, write me here:

I WILL accept nominal fees for gratitude. All money will go into my BBS (see
below) and will be counted as a contribution to the board. And you WILL be
remembered down the road, when and if I decide to add registration benefits.
Go for it!
