PROGRAM: COVER2.EXE
GENERAL FUNCTION: Prints a listing of files on the diskette in drive A:
WHY IS IT NEEDED? Just clip along the dotted line and the results are
just the right size to slip into sleve with your diskette. This is
very handy if you have lots of diskette but are not sure what is on
most of them.
INSTALLATION: none
FORMAT: COVER2
EXAMPLES: none
HOW TO USE IT: Put the diskette you want a cover for in drive A:
and type COVER2. The program will prompt you for a messages to
be printed at the top of the cover.
OTHER EFFECTS: none
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Printer. Currently set up to send a
symbol 15 to start condensed print and a symbol 12 to cause
a form feed.
COMMENTS: I wrote this mostly to get some practice with C.
This was compiled using Turbo C from Borland. There is an
older version of this program floating around. The older
version has several problems:
(1) It lock the computer up if there were fewer than 2
files on the diskette.
(2) It always printed a wrong amount of space free.
This version works correctly.
