WHAT'S NEW IN CONFMT 1.08

A change was made to CONFMT.COM to compensate for a bug in DOS 5.00
LOADHIGH which caused the "S" option not to be recognized.
For users with IBM PS/2 external diskette adapters, a special version
of Con>Format has been placed in the \BIOS subdirectory on this diskette.
Note that 5.25" 720K formatting is not supported with the BIOS version.
WHAT'S NEW IN CONFMT 1.07
August 1990
The following changes have been incorporated into Con>Format Version 1.07:
1. Our Address. Please note that as of September, 1990, we are
now located in Eugene, Oregon.
2. You won't have to configure Con>Format if you have a fairly
"plain" PC. Just run it right off the diskette. The "hot key"
is Alt-Left Shift-F.
3. We've changed the "Format more..." responses to ESC and Enter.
4. We've also updated the configuration program.
Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
