CBOOT.COM
LAEXIT.COM
The first 2 programs cause the computer to start either a 'warm' boot,
or a 'controlled' boot.
BOOT.COM is handy for use in batch files, if you have to have a different
environment for a particular application.
CBOOT.COM is a TSR that will let you do a controlled if a program crashes.
If you're lucky, it will even work when the keyboard seems to be frozen!
LAEXIT.COM will Break out of a seemingly hopeless situation.
A separate DOC file is included in the archive.
It will bring you back to the DOS prompt, and then you can perform some
crash management (like backing up datafiles), after which you should re-boot, 'cause operation is no
longer reliable.
All are Public Domain. I am NOT the author.
Author of BOOT.COM is unknown, but it's only a 16 byte program.
