WinZip Self-Extractor-Make Windows SFX Files
Do you need to send files to end users who
may not have an unzip utility? If so, try
WinZip Self-Extractor, an optional add-on for
WinZip. WinZip Self-Extractor creates native
Windows self-extracting ZIP files that are
only about 12kb larger than the original ZIP.
End users without an unzip program can just
double click on a self-extacting ZIP file to
unzip it with a familiar Windows interface.

WinZip Self-Extractor is a companion product for WinZip, an
award-winning utility that brings the convienence of Windows to
the use of ZIP files. For program details please see the
online documentation or the WINZIPSE.TXT file.
*** Installation ***
WinZip Self-Extractor is distributed as a a self-extracting
ZIP file. To install it, run the self-extracting ZIP file.
For example, if you received the program in the
self-extracting ZIP file A:\WINZIPSE.EXE, activate the Program
Manager, choose Run from the File menu, type A:WINZIPSE, and
press the Enter key. The SETUP program will automatically be
run. When the SETUP program completes you can delete the
WinZip Self-Extractor files in your temp directory.

WinZip Self-Extractor requires Windows 3.1 or later and a
program like WinZip or PKZIP to create ZIP files. See the
documentation for details.
