This is the shareware version of Wall $treet Raider.
Vendors who are dealer members of the Association of
Shareware Professionals are authorized to add this
version of the program to their catalogs, BBS or other
shareware product listings without first obtaining
permission of the author. However, it will be helpful
to notify the author of the program that your company
has begun distribution of the program, so that we can
place you on our mailing list to receive subsequent
update releases of the program.

Other prospective vendors of the program should first
request permission, which will usually be granted if you
enclose a copy of your catalog or similar information.
However, if this package includes the file VENDINFO.DIZ,
refer to it to see if vendors of your classification may
distribute the program without prior approval or notifi-
cation of Ronin Software. You will need the VENDVIEW.EXE
program (freeware) from Ram's Island Software, to view

against competitors, engage in greenmail
payoffs, seek "White Knights" to help you
"shark-proof" your company from other
marauding junk bond takeover artists,
while you struggle to keep companies you
control profitable, against ruthless
industry competitors and arbitrary
government actions. Non-stop action with
a live (simulated) stock ticker and an
unending flow of earnings reports, financial
and political news pouring off the "broad
tape" as you use sophisticated research
tools to try to keep your investments in any
of 250 companies (IBM, Exxon, GM, etc.)

HARDWARE, O/S REQUIREMENTS:

- DOS 2.1 or higher (A DOS program, but also
can be run from Windows 3.xx)

- 640K free RAM required.

- Hard disk recommended, but can be installed
on a 1.2mb or larger floppy.

- No other special hardware requirements,
except that program does not run on
IBM PC-jr. Needs most of 640K conventional
RAM, so may need to unload any large TSR's
from conventional memory before running
W$R.

USER REGISTRATION:

- Required after 30-day evaluation period.

- Registration of $10.00 provides user 90 days
free technical support (by mail) and a copy
of a "Cheat Code" that can be entered to turn
on a "Cheat Mode," in accordance with A.S.P.
guidelines for game shareware. There is no
"registered" or commercial version of the
program.

- For $25.00, user becomes registered, and
receives copy of latest version of the program,
plus Cheat Code.

- User may also order 100-page companion book
on strategies, entitled "TAKE NO PRISONERS --
WALL $TREET RAIDER: STRATEGIES AND TACTICS."

NOTE ON UPDATE POLICY FOR VENDORS !

Ronin Software sends updates of this program to
vendors through whom we have had any registrations
in the preceding 3 months. We know where our
registrations come from, thanks to a small file
(VENDOR.ID) that contains the name of any vendor
to whom we submit a copy. When a user prints out
a registration form, it contains the vendor name
from the VENDOR.ID file. If the VENDOR.ID file
with the version of W$R you are distributing does
not contain the name of your firm, we suggest
you replace the file, using an ASCII text editor,
to make a 1-line ASCII file containing your
company's name.
