The following is taken from PC Magazine Volume 14 Number 15, to whom thanks
are due:

"Various character-based DOS programs use the grey Plus and Minus keys
for navigation and other purposes. These keys don't work under Windows
95 unless you use this trick: In the program's Properties menu, on the
Screen tab, turn off "Fast ROM emulation." You get the grey keys'
functions back".

In VIEW these keys are used for navigating bookmarks.
