Contents of the README.TXT file
Program name: PRGCORSR
Author : Gary Blatt 5/17/89
Purpose : To search the description strings of a database file
Specifically, the ALLFILES listing available on the
Programmer's Corner BBS
Usage : To use this program you must first download the file
ALLFILES.ZIP available on the Programmer's Corner
It is in file area # 2, file # 1. After unzipping the text file
ALLFILES.LST you may then run PRGCORSR.
What it does: After placing the file ALLFILES.LST into a database file, you
will be prompted for a string to search for. The program will
only look at file descriptions, not file names. If the string you
entered is contained in any manner(all caps, all lower, first caps)
the file information will be displayed. You then have the choice
of printing this info to your printer, exiting the program, or
I threw this program together to aid myself in finding different files that are
on the Programmers Corner BBS. With currently 4775! files available for down-
loading, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume. If you can use this program
to help weed thru all the files here, enjoy it. If you have any feedback,
(positive or negative) please drop me a note here on the Programer's Corner.
It may not be beautiful, but it does work!
