Joki(tm) for Windows 3.1 is shareware and makes your joystick emulate a keyboard
so that you can play your favorite Windows games with your joystick instead of a
keyboard.
Joki is UpJoy Driven(tm), meaning that the UpJoy joystick driver for Windows 3.1
must be installed on your system for Joki to work. UpJoy is also shareware and
is available from BIGGUN and from CompuServe's GAMEDEV and WINSHARE forums
(UPJOY.ZIP).
Joki is easy to run -- select Run from Program Manager's File menu. Joki
immediately starts running as a minimized application in the background and
emulates the arrow keys when you move your joystick. The buttons emulate the
Space bar and the Control keys.
To change the emulated keys, just switch to Joki by pressing Ctrl-Esc and hold
down the key you want Joki to emulate then press a joystick button. Joki saves
the key to the joki.ini file.
While Joki is the foreground application, it won't emulate keys -- switching to
your game with Alt-Tab will make Joki emulate keys again.
For more detailed information about Joki, see the online help in joki.hlp.
Joki is shareware, so enjoy it and please distribute it.
