Applying the registered DOOM patch:
*NOTE: THIS PATCH ONLY WORKS WITH REGISTERED DOOM VERSION 1.666. IT WILL
NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER VERSION.
1. Erase the current registered DOOM directory completely and start
with a clean install of registered DOOM 1.666. This will make sure
there are no problems patching due to modified wad files or a modified
DOOM.EXE.
2. Unzip the file "PATCH.ZIP" into the DOOM directory.
3. Change to the registered DOOM directory (if you are not already there).
4. Type "PATCH"
5. After the patch is complete the message "Batch file missing" will
appear. Ignore it.
