1. Added message at exit if target string was not found.
2. Revisited for appropriate messages/options...
3. The /c option now displays appropriate message.
4. Removed /x option (It didn't work!).
NOTE: We must apologize if options didn't perform as indicated in
the usage displays! Simple string searches are our normal
usage of CactGrep. It seems some of the options were not
functional and we failed to test them properly. Near future
versions of CactGrep will verify/adjust/correct such problems!
5. Added /b option for usage of BIOS screen output. Redirection of
output is disabled as with /b, but may help if video display problems.
NOTE: /d option is fastest video output.
6. The /z option is still honored but formally replaced by the /d option
for direct video.
7. The /e and /f options are disabled while being reviewed.
Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
