CactDir is a file(s) directory utility. Using this utility you can view
a directory with file attributes shown and sort the display of files(s).

Typing "CactDir -?" or "CactDir -h" will show a help screen.

CactDir is distributed as "cheapware". You may try this program for 30 days
to see if it is of value to you before registering. If you find the product
to be of value you MUST pay the registration fee or stop using the program.

If you paid a fee for CactDir to anyone but CSS, you did NOT register
CactDir you paid for media and handling costs.

Registration will bring you faster versions that are compiled to use the
extra power of 80286 or 80386+ computers, as well as a faster 8086/88
version.

It is the belief of CSS that this program will function essentially as
described in this document but CSS cannot test for every possible

Individuals are allowed to use this program on more than one computer as
long as it cannot be used one more than one computer at a time.

Use of this program by "for profit" organizations or Government
organizations beyond the 30 day trial period requires registration.

Registered users may purchase the source for CactDir for $15.00 (Business
is $60.00). A non-disclosure agreement must be supplied prior to
shipment. Compiles with BORLAND C++, TURBO C++ and TOPSPEED C++ 3.02.

Each change of the version numbers reflects corrections and/or
"improvements" to CactDir. This reflects the ongoing testing of the output.

NOTE: Due to the low registration cost of CactDir - Registration does NOT
in any way require any support for the program by CSS. However, we
will address problems reported in a prompt manner.

Anyone may distribute the CactDir cheapware version as long it is unmodified,
complete and any distribution fee is less than $5.00.
