ARCID is not free! You are allowed to use this program for a period of 30 days
for evaluation. After 30 days, you must complete this form and return it to me
with the registration fee (in U.S. dollars) enclosed, or stop using ARCID. An
ARCID registration is valid for use on a single BBS system, whether a
single-line, single-computer system, or a multi-line, networked computer
system. If you run two or more distinct BBS systems on the same computer (with
different names), you require two or more ARCID registrations.

The non-commercial registration cost is $15 U.S., which will provide you with a
diskette containing the latest version of ARCID and a registration key file for
removing the beg message and short delay. This program is not crippled; it is
fully functional, and will always remain so.

The registration fee for commercial BBSes, defined if you run your BBS in the
course of a commercial business (e.g. greater than 10 nodes), is $20. Other
than the difference in the price of the license, the registration is the same.

Please send a check or money order (drawn on a U.S. bank) made payable to Mike
Cocke or an international money order to Stacy Smith; send cash to either of us
at your own risk. Pay attention to who you send what form of payment for
faster registration processing.

*** IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE A CREDIT CARD TO REGISTER ARCID ***

Mike Cocke is now an authorized reseller of my shareware products, enabling him
to accept credit card registrations for my shareware. I will fulfill the order
within a few days upon receipt of approval.

Note that due to the costs associated with credit card processing and New
Jersey sales tax, the purchase price will be slightly higher than using US mail
to register my products. However, the turnaround time for your registration
package will be significantly shorter, especially for international orders.

If you would like to register ARCID via credit card, please call Central Core
at 1-201-575-8991 or 1-201-575-8950, using the special login account "ULP
REGISTER" with the password "GUEST".

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
