**** UNPROTECTING A BASIC PROGRAM ****

This program will unprotect a program that was saved
using the FILENME.EXT,P format. It's easy to use once it
has been created.

1.) Create any two or three line program:
10 PRINT "HELLO"
20 GOTO 10
30 END
2.) Save the program by typing:
BSAVE"UNPRO.CIM",&H400,&H7F
3.) The program UNPRO.CIM has now been made on the default
drive.
4.) To unprotect a BASICA program:
5.) LOAD the protected program then type:
BLOAD"UNPRO.CIM"
6.) The protected has now been unprotected.
7.) You may find that the program will not work after it
has been copied to another disk. If this occurs, you
will have to redo the procedure stated above.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
