REPORT.FIX

After you have removed the softguard file protection using NOGUARD the
following patch will stop LOTUS REPORT from looking to disk A for a serial
number.

If you have a sector modifier such as the PD program DISMOD.COM or
Norton utilities or Ultra Utilities, you can also place any message you want
(or the original serial number) in place of the "(serial number not found)"
message that comes up when the program loads. Simply search for the ASCII
string "(serial" or the hex string "28 73 65 72 69 61 6C" and replace with
spaces (hex 20) or whatever you want. (You can't use debug for this task
because the file is too large to fit --- thus you must use a diskbased or
so-called "sector editor" to make this fix.
