The following is a description on how to patch "Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles" to disable the password identification nuisance.
Make sure and do this procedure on a BACKUP and not your orignial
disks. The 3 BAT files and 3 DAT files are provided to perform
patches to the game files TMNTCGA.EXE, TMNTEGA.EXE, and TMNTTDY.
EXE. Just copy the necessary BAT and DAT file to the same disk
and directory as the EXE program. (i.e., CGA.BAT and CGA.DAT to
patch TMNTCGA.EXE) The DOS program DEBUG must also be copied to
the same location or be available along your path.
Then just run the Batch file:
CGA (for example)
Now the password screen is bypassed and won't even show up when
you start the game. This patch worked with the following files:
TMNTCGA.EXE126735 5-02-90-on disk #1
TMNTEGA.EXE136239 5-02-90-on disk #1
TMNTTDY.EXE124039 5-02-90-on disk #2
Cowabunga, dudes! Scumbucket!
