The following is a description on how to patch "John Madden
Football" to disable the codewheel check. The game must be
installed first from your original disk(s). Then copy the
file MFB.DAT (included with this file) to the same disk and
directory as your "Madden" program. The DOS program DEBUG
must also be copied to the samelocation or be available along
your path.

Type the following at the DOS prompt:

REN MFB.EXE MFB.UNP
DEBUG MFB.UNP < MFB.DAT
REN MFB.UNP MFB.EXE

Now the codewheel check won't even show up anymore. This patch
worked with the MFB.EXE file dated 7-14-89 with a size of 224736
bytes.
