The following is a description on how to patch "Hardball II" to
eliminate the use of the supplied Code Wheel. Make sure and do
this procedure on a BACKUP and not your orignial disk.There
are three seperate patches listed below, one for each of the
EXE files for CGA, Tandy, and EGA. Copy the correct file(s) with
the DAT extension (included along with this file) to the same disk
and directory as your "Hardball II" program. The DOS program DEBUG
must also be copied to the samelocation or be available along your
PATH.

To patch the CGA version with the HB2CGA.EXE file dated 10-13-89
and 167,587 bytes in size, type the following at the DOS prompt:

REN HB2CGA.EXE HB2CGA.UNP
DEBUG < CGA.DAT
REN HB2CGA.UNP HB2CGA.EXE

To patch the Tandy version with the HB2TDY.EXE file dated 10-13-89
and 163,627 bytes in size, type the following at the DOS prompt:

REN HB2TDY.EXE HB2TDY.UNP
DEBUG < TDY.DAT
REN HB2TDY.UNP HB2TDY.EXE

To patch the EGA version with the HB2EGA.EXE file dated 10-13-89
and 170,281 bytes in size, type the following at the DOS prompt:

REN HB2EGA.EXE HB2EGA.UNP
DEBUG < EGA.DAT
REN HB2EGA.UNP HB2EGA.EXE

enter to continue.
